Dear Buttocks,


Sorry for sitting on you all day! Work has required me to take meetings online and those meetings are coming in nonstop. I barely stand up and walk anymore, let alone squat and lunge. I know you’re the biggest and strongest muscle in the body and you have helped me so much. You helped me manage my back pain. You helped eliminate that nagging knee pain that was caused by running with bad mechanics. You even helped fill into my jeans flattering my waist line. Thank you! Remember the good old days when we used to hike the Marin Headlands for hours at a time and feel great afterwards? Remember how we could explode into a full sprint and feel like a cheetah? Let’s bring those glory days back. Let’s make this ass great again, one squat at a time!


I’ll start easy with 5 minutes of exercises to restore how flat you have gotten. Then I’ll get back to the strengthening exercises that made you the powerhouse you are. We can even consider wind sprints and hill repeats once you plump back up and get back to old form.


I pledge to move you everyday with strengthening and stretching exercises.
